LLFA Tape Used to Seal Leak in Daqing Oil Field Pipeline

The Daqing Oil Field is the largest oil field in China, located between the Songhua River and Nen River in Heilongjiang province.

LLFA Tape was used to successfully seal a pipeline leak in the Daqing Oil Field, 159mm in diameter, with pressure of 0.7MPa.  The Daqing team did a great job of sealing the tubing leaks, thus ensuring pipeline safety and a clean and tidy workplace environment.

Output of barrels of oil equivalent of the Daqing Field remained stable at over 40 million tons in 2012, making it the most productive oil and gas field in China.
